Who we are

What we collect directly
Almost nothing. This site has no accounts, no logins, no newsletter and no comments. There are exactly two ways we receive information from you:
- The contact form. If you submit it, we receive the name, email address and message you type, plus your IP address (which is used to rate-limit submissions and block automated spam). We use it to reply to you and for nothing else. We do not add you to any list, and we do not share it.
- Email you send us. Which we keep for as long as needed to deal with what you wrote about.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and which links are clicked, in aggregate. It sets cookies and collects the kind of data analytics tools collect: pages visited, approximate location derived from IP, device and browser type, and referring site. We use it to decide what to write next.
We do not use it to identify individuals, and we have not enabled advertising personalization features. Google's own privacy policy governs what Google does with that data. You can opt out of Google Analytics entirely using Google's browser opt-out add-on, or by using a browser or extension that blocks analytics scripts.
Affiliate links
Product links on this site route through a redirect on our own domain and then to Amazon, carrying our Associates tracking ID. That is how Amazon attributes a purchase to us. Amazon sets its own cookies at that point, and Amazon's privacy notice governs anything that happens on Amazon's site.
We do not receive your name, address, payment details or order contents from Amazon — only aggregate reporting of clicks and commissions. The affiliate disclosure explains the commercial side.
Cookies
Cookies on this site come from two places: Google Analytics, as described above, and Amazon when you follow a product link. This site sets no advertising cookies of its own, has no ad network, and runs no third-party ad scripts.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so will not stop any part of this site from working, because nothing here depends on them.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
- We do not run a mailing list, so you cannot be added to one.
- We do not serve display advertising.
- We do not build profiles of individual visitors.
- We do not embed social media tracking pixels.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information through our contact form, email us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our processing of it. Since the only information we hold directly is what you sent us through the contact form or by email, a request usually amounts to "delete my message" — which we will do.

Security and hosting
This site is served over HTTPS. Contact form submissions are transmitted to us by email through Microsoft Graph and are not stored in a database on this site, because there is no database. No system is perfectly secure, and we would rather tell you what we hold — very little — than promise more than we can guarantee.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or which third parties are involved, we will update this page and change the date at the top. There is no mailing list to notify, so the date is the record.
